See this and much more in the current issue. Head on down to your local shop and grab yourself a print copy or order a dual subscription and get it on your iPad, you won’t be disappointed and won’t ever miss an issue.

EDITORIAL | TROUT MAGAZINE | TABLE OF CONTENTS Spring 2016
The new issue of TROUT magazine is hot off the press. I’m thrilled and humbled to have landed the Table of Contents image. This is a photo of a wild sea run rainbow/steelhead from an incredible place that needs to be protected, The Tongass National Forest.
You can get your copy a few different ways. Often your local angling shop will have them or you can get it free with your Trout Unlimited membership. I am member of Trout Unlimited. TU’s conservation and restoration work in and around my home waters is vital for the survival of an ecosystem and native species such as the Cutthroat Trout. For that I am very thankful and one of the reasons I donate. What’s your reason?
The team finished up creating an ad campaign for Hatch Outdoors – Premium Fly Fishing Reels. Check out the latest motion + stills commercial advertisement campaign captured in the temperate rainforest of Southeast Alaska. Be sure to stay tuned for more upcoming media from this production.
AURORA BOREALIS | WRANGELL, ALASKA Northerns Lights, AK
As random luck would have it, I was able to snag a scramble image of the northern lights here in Alaska. I feel very fortunate to be able to see them and very lucky to be able to fire off a few images before it disappeared.

Things can get really busy when shooting in the field, and sometimes you get tunnel vision and miss the amazing little things that nature offers.
