The new Fly Fisherman Magazine 2016 Gear Guide is on the news stands! Lots of great new gear is hitting the shelves this year, along with some trusty staples. I’m pleased that a few of my images were a good fit for this year’s layout. They always bring back such great memories. I always feel very lucky to be able to spend time with those who are passionate about life. A big thanks goes out to all those anglers that allow me to tag along on their personal journeys, you know who you are.

I had the opportunity to spend a few days making imagery for the Yellow Dog Flyfishing Adventures crew in Washington a few weeks ago. This trip Shaun lawson and I tagged along for Troy and Dec’s Spey class. I learned a lot, actually wish I’d had this instruction years ago!
