A few months ago we headed down to Port O’Connor Texas, to team up with Drift Media Productions for a video and photo combo shoot. We were hired to photograph a rollout campaign for a new angling brand, Dagon Apparel Company. It was a fantastic few days of redfish, eating shrimp and enjoying the Texas coast. Here are a few images from the shoot.
The new Spring issue of the Drake Magazine just hit the fly shops. This issue is not to be overlooked; it’s chock-full of original content from great writers and skilled photographers. It’s always a pleasure to see those images on paper and relive those moments again.
It’s always an honor to see your name in the contributor’s section. But it takes a real team effort to create images and photograph dreams. Big thanks to my team and all those anglers, editors, lodges, guides, booking agents and supporters who help make these images come to life.
Head on down to your local shop and grab yourself a print copy or order a dual subscription and get it on your iPad, you won’t be disappointed and won’t ever miss an issue.

It was great to see the sights and sounds of New Orleans. I wish I had more time to explore the city and the rich culture but it was great to have a cup of Joe and a beignet at world famous Café Du Monde and observe the colorful scenery of Bourbon street. We found a few redfish, ate a few spicy crawdads, saw some gators and even tossed out a hand-line. All in all it was a pretty amazing trip and I look forward to returning one day.
